Jet Privilege was India's largest air miles provider. It was started as a subsidiary of Jet Airways, and was always associated with the airline. When the airline went bankrupt, Jet Privilege approached Interbrand seeking to a new name and new brand to step out from under the shadows of the failing airline.

The new brand was intended to be a partner and reward journeys and experiences of all kinds, not just air travel. The name "Intermiles" captures the spirit of connection and exploration. "Inter" signifies the interconnectedness of journeys, while "miles" represents the distance traveled and rewards earned. Together, they reflect a commitment to enhancing travel experiences, transforming every mile into an opportunity for adventure. Intermiles is about celebrating the journey and enriching travels with meaningful rewards.
